I decided to download the ‘Yoga Journal’ app on my iPad and the only free issue was this comprehensive preview of different articles combined from previous 2013 issues. I found this and wanted to post it for people who want to broaden their home practice or even for beginners who feel unsure or intimidated where to start. It’s great and it explains why each building block is essential for your practice. Try this basic sequence until you feel comfortable enough moving on and adding/subbing different poses. If you have an tablet and want to download it hi-res yourself for free, go for it!
Top Left: Strictly cardio for 6 months
Top Right: ~Strictly weight lifting for 6 months
You tell me which one makes the difference.
Wow is an understatement.
The first of many transformation photos!
280 lbs versus 160 lbs
on the left i was 16 and not even at my highest weight (gained about 10kg in a period of 4 months)
on the right i am now 19 and at my lowest weight in about 7 years.
in the past 3 years i have lost nearly 55kg and have changed my life completely.
i am now a certified level one master personal trainer and have dedicated my life to health and fitness.
You are amazing!
I don’t care how “slow” you think your metabolism is
I don’t care how “naturally huge” you think your thighs are
You cannot live off of 1200 calories for the rest of your life. 1200 calories will not make you love your body, you will never be happy with a starving mind.
So I say this with as much love possible: do not kid yourself, you are no exception.
I know i posted the photo to the right a few minutes ago, but i had to put up a comparison.
It’s amazing to see photos of myself like this, because there are alot of times that i look myself in the mirror and i feel as if i have not lost any weight and i look the exact same. That ive “made no progress”
If you are ever feeling discouraged, or stuck at your weight, or you’re not progressing, please never hesitate to message me. Because i have been there, and i am here to help you.
